Bhutan faced yet another heavy defeat in the SAFF Under-15 Women’s Championship as Nepal scored seven against them to win their first match in the tournament at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Shipahi Mustofa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka on Thursday.
Bhutan conceded eight goals in their first match of the tournament against Bangladesh.
Nepal’s number 10 Barsha Oli started the goal feast in the very first minute of the game. The Nepal forward ended up with a four-goal haul, while Sukriya Miya scored another two. Senu Pariyar hammered the final nail in the coffin as she scored in the 85th minute just after coming on as a substitute just three minutes earlier.
Nepal will face Bangladesh on Saturday, November 5. The match will be at the same venue at 4:30 PM local time.
