Pakistan were 79-0 at tea on day two in the first Test of the two-match series against Bangladesh at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Saturday.

Abid Ali reached his half-century and was on 52 at the innings break, while Abdullah Shafique was unbeaten on 27 runs after 29 overs.

Earlier, Bangladesh were all out for 330 runs in their first innings.

Liton Kumar Das registered his maiden Test hundred while Hasan Ali took five wickets.
