Rajasthan Royals have purchased Mustafizur Rahman for the upcoming season of Indian Premier Leage (IPL) at the base price of INR 1 crore.
Royals were the only bidder for the left arm pacer.
He previously played 24 matches in IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians respectively where he bagged 24 wickets from 24 matches at an average of 28.54.
The southpaw played a crucial role in helping SRH win the IPL in 2016.
Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan has returned to the Kolkata Knight Riders as the franchise bought him for ₹3,20,00,000 following a bidding war with Kings XI Panjab.
KKR made the opening bid for Shakib, who was listed at the highest base price of INR 2 crore after his name came up in the second set of the auction.
