A maiden fifty in Twenty20 Internationals from Shamim Hossain saw Bangladesh post 124 on the board after they lost seven wickets in the first 10 overs.
Shamim, who fell as the final wicket, scored 51 off 42 balls, hitting five fours and two sixes.
After opting to bat first, Bangladesh did not have a great start to the innings for the first time this series as they lost Liton Das (5) in the second over before Najmul Hossain Shanto departed in the next (4).
Rony Talukdar (14) and Shakib Al Hasan (6) were the next to go as Bangladesh ended the power play on 41-4.
Despite the crumble, Bangladesh batters kept trying to stay positive and hit their way out, which did not work as they were down to 61-7 in the 10th over, losing Towhid Hridoy (12), Rishad Hossain (8), and Taskin Ahmed (0).
From there, Shamim fought a lone battle as he picked up his first fifty before falling in the final over, taking Bangladesh to 124.
