Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has climbed up to the ninth spot in the ICC twenty20 international bowler rankings in the latest ranking update.
Shakib, previously ranked 12th, claimed four wickets in their first three matches against New Zealand that pushed him up the rankings.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh all-rounder Shak Mahedi Hasan also gained in the bowler rankings as he climbed up 67 steps from 91st to 24th.
Mustafizur Rahman maintained his place as the 10th ranked bowler in the ICC rankings.
Shakib maintained his position at the top of the T20I all-rounder rankings but lost rating points as he failed to make a mark with his bat in the ongoing Blackcaps series.
Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah Riyad also claimed a one-spot raise as he moved to 14th in the all-rounder rankings.
