Bangladesh have brought in six changes to their squad for the upcoming three-match Twenty20 international series from their T20 World Cup squad.
Under-19 World Cup-winning captain Akbar Ali has received his first international call-up, with the likes of Saif Hassan and Shohidul Islam also being called up for the first time.
Bangladesh are missing out on Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Saifuddin due to injuries, whereas Mushfiqur Rahim, Liton Das, Soumya Sarkar and Rubel Hossain have been dropped.
Alongside Akbar, Saif, and Shohidul, the three other players to come in the squad are- Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Yasir Ali Chowdhury, and Aminul Islam Biplob.
Mahmudullah Riyad will be continuing as the skipper for this series.
