Mobile Financial Service Tap became the sponsor of school team, Asmat Ali Khan institution in Barishal.
Tap is an MFS in joint venture with Trust Axiata Digital Limited.
Tap will act as the micro-sponsor of the National School Cricket tournament in Barishal and will also sponsor Asmat Ali Khan Institution school team.
Asmat Ali Khan institution, which is a non-government boy’s school, will be playing in the upcoming National School Cricket tournament in Barishal district.
The tournament is set to return to Barishal after a two-year gap due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
A total of eight teams from across the district will fight it out to become the district champions. The district champions will then move onto the divisional stage, and the division winners will proceed to compete in the national round.
Bangladesh Cricket board announced to launch a database that will keep record of all players participating in the tournament and will track of their performances.
BCB will also give away scholarships to the top 15 players of this year’s tournament.
