Tigers bowl first against Netherlands

The Netherlands have won the toss and chosen to bat first in their ICC World Cup clash against Bangladesh on Saturday in Kolkata. 

With this match, the World Cup excitement has reached the "City of Joy," Kolkata. The city will host a total of five matches, including two of Bangladesh’s. In the next match, Bangladesh will face Pakistan.

Bangladesh has played five matches in this World Cup so far, losing four of them. Their sole victory came against Afghanistan, marking Bangladesh's first win in this World Cup. However, they struggled to replicate that performance in subsequent matches.

For this match, Bangladesh has rested Hasan Mahmud and Nasum Ahmed, bringing in Taskin Ahmed and Mahedi Hasan.

The Netherlands, on the other hand, have also played five matches, securing a victory against South Africa. They have demonstrated their passion and determination in the World Cup, making this match a challenging one for the Tigers.
