Bangladesh will field first in the first One-Day International of their three-match series against India as skipper Liton Das won the toss and put the visitors into bat.
Liton is debuting as the ODI skipper in place of Tamim Iqbal, who is missing out with a groin injury. He is the 15th player to lead the side in this format.
Bangladesh have been forced to bring two changes in the XI as Tamim and Taskin Ahmed are missing out with an injury. Anamul Haque will open instead of Tamim, while Najmul Hossain Shanto will play at three. The pace attack will consist of Mustafizur Rahman, Hasan Mahmud, and Ebadot Hossain.
India have handed pacer Kuldeep Sen his first ODI cap.
