Ruman Shana has been eliminated in the second round contest of the Olympic Archery men's recurve singles at Tokyo Olympics.

Ruman lost to Duenas Crispin of Canada by 6-4 set points in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday.

Ruman took the first set by 26-25 points but Ruman lost the next set by 25-28 and the third set by 27-29 points.

Earlier on the day, Ruman Shana won his first elimination round contest against Britain's Tom Hall by 7-3 set points.

Diya Siddique, another Bangladeshi archer competing in the Olympics, will play her individual round matches on July 29.

Earlier on July 24, Bangladesh got eliminated from the first round of recurve mixed team event (mixed doubles) on the second day of the Tokyo Olympics Archery losing to stronger South Korea by straight 0-6 set points.
