Imran Hossain Tushar has been named as the acting general secretary of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) for the next three months.
The BFF took the decision in an emergency meeting on Monday.
He will replace former BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, who was banned by FIFA for two years for financial irregularities.
Tushar joined BFF as the personal assistant of President Kazi M Salahuddin in 2016 and later he acted as the BFF protocol manager.
The new role for Tushar will be his additional responsibility.
