Comilla Victorians registered their straight second win in this season's Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League as they defeated Fortune Barishal by 63 runs at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Fortune Barishal won the toss and elected to field first.

Comilla made a steady start as Mahmudul Hasan Joy (48) narrowly missed a half-century in his debut in BPL and Karim Janat (29*) with a late surge took the team to 158-7 in 20 overs.

Shakib Al Hasan took two wickets and Dwane Bravo took three wickets.

In reply, star-studded Fortune Barishal folded for only 95 runs in 17.3 overs.

Shakib was out for just one, Chris Gayle went for just seven runs and Dwayne Bravo was out for a duck.

It was Barishal's second loss in the third match.
