Bangladesh women cricketers completed a clean-sweep against Zimbabwe women’s team in the three-match one-day internationals series as they won the third ODI by seven wickets.
Nigar Sultana Joty came back to the squad and took her mantle as captain but she lost her first coin-spinning as Zimbabwe captain Mary-Anne Musonda won the toss and elected to bat first.
Zimbabwe were all-out for only 72 runs in 27.2 overs, Sharne Mayers was the top-scorer with 39 runs.
Debutant Fariha Trishna took two wickets, but the star was Nahida Akter who took five wickets for only 21 runs to fold Zimbabwe for a low total.
In reply, unbeaten 39 runs from Musrshida Khatun helped Bangladesh to score 74-3 in 18.2 overs to register a seven-wicket victory in the third ODI of the series.
