Bangladesh women’s national team had a goal fest on Saturday as they thrashed Pakistan 6-0 in their second match of the Women’s SAFF Championship 2022 at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Skipper Sabina Khatun netted a hat-trick, taking her tally to five goals in the tournament, while Monika Chakma, Mosammat Jahan Shopna and Ritu Chakma all scored one each.
The win takes Bangladesh to the top of Group A and puts them in a solid position for qualification to the semis.

Bangladesh will take on India on Tuesday at the same venue.
The women in red and green achieved their best finish in the competition in 2016 when they were beaten 3-1 in the final by India.
