Zimbabwe Test skipper Sean Williams is a doubt for their Test against Bangladesh, set to kick off on Wednesday, as he came into contact with Covid-19 patients.

He is currently in isolation along with teammate Craig Ervine.

The Zimbabwe team management informed that Williams and Ervine came in contact with their relatives, who later on tested positive for Covid-19.

Williams and Ervine will be tested for Covid-19 later, and if they test negative, they will be allowed to take part in the solitary Test.

If Williams fails to test negative, veteran batsman Brendan Taylor will take his place to lead the side.

Taylor already attended the pre-match press conference as the stand-in skipper on Tuesday.

Bangladesh also have doubts in their squad as Tamim Iqbal is still not 100 per cent sure for the upcoming Test.
