Trading of SBAC Bank shares starts tomorrow

South Bangla Agriculture & Commerce Bank (SBAC) is set to make its debut on the bourses on Wednesday.

As per rules, shares of the fourth-generation bank will be traded under the N-category.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) trading code for the bank is “SBACBANK”.

The initial public offering (IPO) subscription of the SBAC Bank hits 14 times high. Investors applied for the bank’s IPO from July 5 to July 12, 2021. As per the allocation, a primary investor got a minimum of 66 IPO shares of the bank in exchange of Tk 10,000.

According to the Dhaka Stock Exchange, the bank issued 10 crore shares at the face value of Tk 10 each. Through the issue, the bank has collected Tk 100 crore from the capital market.
