Eight mutual funds declare dividends

Eight closed-end mutual funds have declared cash dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2021.

The declaration came at the trustee committee meetings of the mutual funds held on Wednesday, according to the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

Thanks to the declarations, all the funds had no price limit at the market on Thursday. The record date for all is September 6.

ICBAMCL2ND: The trustee board of ICB AMCL Second Mutual Fund has declared 8 per cent cash dividend, on the basis of the net income for the year ended June 30, 2021, considering previous retained earnings.

In 2020 the ICBAMCL2ND gave 5 per cent cash dividend.

PRIME1ICBA: The Prime Bank 1st ICB AMCL Mutual Fund has declared 7.5% cash dividend for the year ended June 30, 2021. It disbursed 5 per cent cash dividend for the last financial year.

ICBAGRANI1: Considering retained earnings, ICB AMCL First Agrani Bank Mutual Fund has approved 7 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2021. Its EPU increased 100 per cent in the year.

For the FY20, the fund gave 5 per cent cash dividend.

ICBSONALI1: ICB AMCL Sonali Bank Limited 1st Mutual Fund approved 7 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on June 30, 202, which was 5 per cent in the previous year.

The Fund reported EPU of Tk 0.53 for the year, which was Tk 0.41 for the same period of previous year.

Its also reported NAV per unit at market price of Tk 10.39, NAV per unit at cost of Tk 11.93 and NOCFPU of Tk 0.07 for the year ended on June 30, 2021 against Tk 6.79, Tk 11.37 and Tk 0.26 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

ICB3RDNRB: ICB AMCL Third NRB Mutual Fund approved 7 per cent cash dividend for the year, considering previous retained earnings. It disbursed 5 per cent cash dividend for the FY20.

PF1STMF: Phoenix Finance 1st Mutual Fund declared 6 per cent cash dividend for the year ended June 30, 2021, which was 5 per cent in the previous year.

ICBEPMF1S1: ICB Employees Provident MF 1: Scheme 1 declared 6 per cent cash dividend for the year ended June 30, 2021, which was 5 per cent in the previous year.

IFILISLMF1: IFIL Islamic Mutual Fund-1 declared 4 per cent cash dividend for two consecutive years.
