Express Insurance declares 2% cash dividend

Express Insurance, the newly listed company declared 2 per cent final cash dividend for the year ended in December 31, 2020.

The company also gave 5 per cent interim cash dividend for the last year, which has already been disbursed to the shareholders.

Company’s board of directors has recommended 2 per cent final cash dividend for the last year at a meeting held on Thursday. The record date is October 7 for entitlement of the dividend and the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on December 9.

According to the DSE news, posted on Sunday, earnings of the company increased 69 per cent in the last year. The insurance company has reported that Earnings Per Share (EPS) was Tk 1.64 for the last year, which was Tk 0.97 for the previous year.
