Shares worth Tk 44cr traded in DSE block market

Shares of some 57 listed companies were traded at the block market of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Tuesday, with a total of 94,65,037 shares – worth Tk 44.9 crore - changing hands.

Bangladesh Finance and Investment Company had the highest turnover of Tk 7.03 crore in the block trading. A total of 11,25,000 shares of the company were transacted in two trades on the day.

Among other companies trading in the block market, Bangladesh Submarine Cable had the second-highest turnover of Tk 6.34 crore and Coppertech Industries had the third-highest turnover of Tk 5.12 crore.
