Shares worth Tk 22cr traded at block market

Shares of 36 companies worth Tk 22.97 crore were traded at the Dhaka Stock Exchange block market on Monday.

Beximco had the highest turnover of Tk 7.67 crore in block trading as a total of 58 lakh shares of the company were exchanged in three trades during the trading session. It was followed by National Housing Finance and Investments Limited with a turnover of Tk 3.93 crore, and Grameenphone with Tk 1.7 crore.

Besides, Paramount Textile Limited’s block trade amounted to Tk 1.14 crore, followed by Rangpur Dairy & Food Products to Tk 1 crore, Eastern Insurance to Tk 77 lakh, Standard Insurance to Tk 62 lakh, BATBC to Tk 59 lakh, LafargeHolcim to Tk 55 lakh, Aman Feed to Tk 46 lakh, Salvo Chemical to Tk 44 lakh and Lanka Bangla Finance to Tk 45 lakh.
