Sena Kalyan Insurance Company (SKICL) will make debut on the Dhaka Stock Exchange on November 7.
The company will carry out share trading under ‘N’ category with “SKICL” trade code while its company code is 25752, it said in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
The insurance firm raised Tk 16 crore from the capital market through initial public offering (IPO). It issued 1.80 crore shares at a face value of Tk 10 each.
Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSE) had okayed the company’s IPO proposal on August 11.
The SKICL will spend the proceeds on fixed deposits, investment in the capital market, purchase of floors and initial public offering.
The investors subscribed for the IPO from October 3 to 8. Sena Kalyan Insurance was established in 2013. Its main business areas are fire, marine, engineering, motor and aviation insurance.
