DBA gets new president

DSE Brokers Association (DBA), a platform of trading right entitlement certificate (TREC) holders of the premier bourse, has elected Richard Di Rozario as its new president for the next two years. He is the managing director of Global Securities and was the vice president of the previous DBA committee.

Md Sajedul Islam, managing director of Shamol Equity Management Ltd, and Md Saifuddin, managing director of IDLC Securities, were also elected as senior vice president and vice president respectively in the new executive committee.

The announcement was made at the association’s executive committee meeting in Dhaka on Monday, said DBA in a statement.

Other members of the new committee are: Md Ahsan Ullah, MD & CEO of Pubali Bank Securities, Shumon Das, CEO of Bank Asia Securities, Md Shahed Imran, CEO of NLI Securities, Ziad Rahman, CEO of Delta Capital and Osman Gani Chowdhury, MD of Expo Traders, Dastogir Md Adil, MD of Adil Securities, Omar Haidar Khan, MD of Eminent Securities; Md Mofizuddin, MD of Remonce Investment, Md Shorif Anwar Hossain, MD of Shohidullah Securities, Mamun Akbor, MD of Ali Securities, Dil Afroz Kamal, MD of K-Securities and Masudul Haque, MD of Aries Securities.
