Four companies reveal financials for second quarter

Four listed companies have released their earnings for the second quarter of the current financial year. Of the companies, earnings of three increased.

Saif Powertec’s earnings jumped around 83 per cent for the second quarter of FY22. Its consolidated EPS was Tk 0.53 for October-December 2021 as against Tk 0.29 for October-December 2020.

Its consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk 17.16 as of December 31, 2021 and Tk 17.11 as of June 30, 2021.

Fuwang Ceramic reported a drop of more than 30 per cent to Tk 0.09 in EPS as against Tk 0.13 during the period. Its NAV per share was Tk 11.87 as of December 31, 2021 and Tk 11.70 as of June 30, 2021.

Golden Son reported a 14.29 per cent rise in consolidated EPS to Tk 0.16 for October-December 2021 as against Tk 0.14 for October-December 2020.

The company said its EPS increased significantly due to a decrease in the cost of goods sold, operating, and financial expenses in comparison to the same period of the previous financial year.

Its consolidated NAV per share was Tk 20.37 as of December 31, 2021, and Tk 20.22 as of June 30, 2021.

Consolidated net operating cash flow per share increased significantly because of a significant increase of cash received from customers and FDR interest received in comparison to the same period of the previous financial year, the company said.

Silco Pharma reported that its EPS stood at Tk 0.13, an increase of more than 8 per cent from Tk 0.12 during the period.

Its NAV per share was Tk 22.24 as of December 31, 2021, and Tk 21.85 as of June 30, 2021.
