Sonali Aansh Q1 earnings zoom 215%

Sonali Aansh Industries reported an increase of 215 per cent in its earnings from July through September in FY22.

Its earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk 0.44 in July-September in FY22 period as against Tk 0.14 in the same period a year ago, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday. About the jump in its EPS, the company said it increased due to rising net profit.

The jute yarn and diversified manufacturer and exporter also reported that its net operating cash flow per share ( NOCFPS) was Tk 0.62 against Tk 14.34 during the period. Its net asset value per share was Tk 226.09 as of September 30, 2021, and Tk 225.67 as of September 30, 2020.

NOCFPS has decreased due to a decrement in cash receipts from customers in comparison with the preceding quarter, said the company. In the last financial year, the company made Tk 30.59 lakh in profit. Its total revenue soared 11 per cent to Tk 50.64 crore in FY21, including Tk 30.01 crore from jute yarn & twine and Tk 20.23 crore from diversified products.
