LafargeHolcim Bangladesh has approved a 25 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year 2021.
The approval came at the 24th annual general meeting (AGM) of the multinational cement company held virtually on Monday, said a press release.
LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Chairman Christof Hässig presided over the AGM, attended by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director Rajesh Surana, other board members, and shareholders.
The shareholders approved all the items of the agenda, including the cash dividend.
LafargeHolcim Bangladesh reported a 64 percent rise in net profit to over Tk 3,88 crore in the last year due to higher sales of its new products.
The company had logged a net profit of Tk 236.10 crore in 2020.
