City Bank declares 25%, Pubali Bank 12.50% dividends

City Bank and Pubali Bank have declared cash and stock dividends for 2021.

In its board meeting on Saturday, City Bank recommended a 25 per cent dividend, including 12.50 cash and 12.50 per cent stock, for its shareholders for the year.

The earnings per share (EPS) of the bank increased 26 per cent to Tk 5.15 in 2021, which was Tk 4.09 in 2020. Its net operating cash flow per share jumped to Tk 13.28, up from Tk 4.67 during the period.

Its annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on June 12 to approve the latest dividend and the record date for the share entitlement is May 5.

Its share price Increased 4.78 per cent to Tk 26 on sunday.

Pubali Bank recommended a 12.50 per cent cash dividend for the year, said the banking in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday.

It will hold an AGM on May 31 for shareholders’ approval of the payout and the record date for the share entitlement is May 8.

Its consolidated EPS was Tk 4.23, NAV per share Tk 38.69 and net operating cash flow per share Tk 3.28 for the year ended December 31, 2021, as against Tk 3.60, Tk 38.05 (restated) and Tk 4.02 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

Pubali Bank share price declared 3.23 per cent to Tk 27 on sunday.
