City Bank has registered an almost 26 per cent rise in its net profit year-on-year.
It reported that its consolidated net profit stood at Tk 5,494 million in 2021, up from Tk 4,364 million recorded in the previous year, said the bank in a statement on Wednesday.
Its EPS (earnings per share) stood at Tk 5.15 in 2021 against Tk 4.09 in 2020.
On Wednesday, the bank’s share price rose 1.15 per cent to Tk 26.5 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange.
