Bourses to remain close for five days

The bourses remained closed for five days, from April 29 to May 4, on account of Eid-ul-Fitr, the largest religious festival of the Muslims, including weekly and May Day holidays.

Trading on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) will begin at 10:00 am as usual and continue until 2:30 pm.

Pre-opening and post-closing sessions will be 9:45 am to 10:00 am and 2:30 pm to 2:45 pm respectively.
