The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has once again revised the circuit breaker limit to 2 per cent from the existing 5 per cent with effect from Thursday.
The stock market regulator issued the order on Wednesday.
On March 8, the BSEC lowered the lower limit circuit from 10 per cent to 2 per cent to arrest the continuous downturn of the market. On April 20 when the market was heading toward stability, it increased the lower limit circuit from 2 percent to 5 percent.
