The Board of Directors of Marico Bangladesh Limited has recommended a 450 per cent interim cash dividend for the year ending 2022-23.
This interim cash dividend represents the basis of the Audited and Approved Annual Financial Statements for the fiscal year of 2021–22, prior to the closure of the first quarter, the company said in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday.
The record date for entitlement of the interim cash dividend is set on June 23.
As per the last audited financial statements, Marico has reported for the year ended March 31, 2022, earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 112.82, Nat asset value (NAV) per share of Tk 85.37, and Net Operating Cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of Tk 114.46 for the year ended March 31, 2022, as against Tk 98.69, Tk 51.95, and Tk 104.91 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
The Marico disbursed a total 900 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on March 31, 2022. In 2021, it provided a 950 per cent cash dividend.
