BD paints limited will hit the stock markets on today. The trading code of the company is ‘BDPAINTS’, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Monday.
Prior to that, the Company announced its profit year to year on Monday in DSE Board.
According to audited annual financial statements, BD Paints’ profit after tax increased by 53%, or Tk 4.82 crore, on June 30, 2021, compared to Tk 3.13 crore on June 30, 2020, according to the notice.
Its basic earnings per share (EPS) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2021 were Tk 0.97, compared to Tk 0.63 for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020.
BD Paints Ltd has already collected Tk 12 crore via Qualified Investor Offer (QIO). BSEC approved IPO of BD paints on April 12 as a small and medium enterprise.
The fund raised by the company will be spent on factory construction, working capital and meeting QIO costs.
BD Paints started its journey in the year 2014. The Company manufactures a wide range of paints for decorative and industrial use like high-performing decorative, marine and industrial paint product with its expertise and cutting edge technology.
