Purabi General declares 10%, BIFC no dividend

Purabi General Insurance Company has declared 10 per cent dividend for its shareholders for 2021 and Bangladesh Industrial Finance Company Limited (BIFC) declared no dividend for December 31, 2019.

Purabi General Insurance board recommended full cash dividends for the year ended December 31, 2021, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday.

Purabi General fixed the date of Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 6, 2022 and the date of BIFC’s AGM will be notified later.

Both BIFC and Purabi General Insurance set July 25 as record date for the entitlement of shares.

Purabi General has also reported earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 1.37, net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk 13.37 and net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of Tk 1.09 for the year ended December 31, 2021 as against Tk 1.10 (restated), Tk 12.47 (restated) and Tk 1.46 (restated) respectively for the same period of the previous year.
