Share of Sonargaon Textiles Limited’s Shares has increased 35 per cent in 13 consecutive days.
Its share price jumped from Tk 34.6 on June 19 to Tk 46.7 seen on July 5 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange.
On Tuesday, its share price roses 0.21 per cent to stand at Tk 46.70 following the query made by the DSE.
“There is no undisclosed price sensitive information of the company for recent unusual price hike and increase in volume of shares,” said Sonargaon Textiles in response to the DSE’s query over its unusual price hike.
Its third quarter (Q3) earnings per share (EPS) were Tk 0.04 for January-March 2022 as against negative Tk 0.41 for January-March 2021.
Its Net Asset value (NAV) per share was Tk 11.32 as on March 31, 2022 and Tk 11.08 as on June 30, 2021. The company Board of Directors has recommended no dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2021
