CFA Society Bangladesh elected new office bearers for 2022-2024.
Md Shaheen Iqbal CFA has been appointed as the President of the Society and Md Moniruzzaman, as Vice-President. Besides, Ali Imam, CFA as the treasurer and Md Iqbal Hossain, CFA, as the Secretary of the Society.
Md Shaheen Iqbal is the 3rd President of the Society and will continue his role for the second consecutive term. In addition, the Society has also elected two new directors SM Galibur Rahman, CFA & Mr Kazi Raquib-Ul Huq, CFA. The new Board has officially started their tenure from July 1, 2022.
Md Shaheen Iqbal is an active volunteer for the Society and going into his second term says “It is a great honor to be elected as the President of CFA Society Bangladesh - a society of highly qualified and ethical professionals. It has been a challenging experience in the last two years during pandemic, however we tried to keep engaged to create meaningful impact for our members and industry through professional learning, delivering quality content for trainings, strengthening our partnership with Regulators, Institutions & Universities.
Md Moniruzzaman, CFA, Vice-President is currently the Managing Director of IDLC Investments Ltd and has more than 20 years of extensive experience in the financial sector.
