The City Bank Limited has posted a 1.68 per cent rise in its earnings for the second quarter in 2022.
Its earnings per share (EPS) rose to Tk 1.21 in April-June period from Tk 1.19 recorded in the same period a year ago, the company said in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday.
However, the net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of the bank turned negative in the first half of the current year. Its net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk 31.53 as of June 30, 2022 and Tk 30.68 as of December 31, 2021.
Its share price dropped 0.91 per cent to Tk 21.80 on Sunday. The price moved between Tk 21.70 and Tk 30.60 throughout the last one year.
The company has Tk 2641 crore in market capitalization, Tk 1200 crore in paid-up capital and Tk 2042 crore in surplus reserve. It got listed with the capital market in 1986.
