CSE awards top stock brokers

The top brokers for the fiscal year 2021-22 have been awarded by the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).

A program was held on last Thursday at the headquarters of “Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC (CSE)” in Chittagong.

Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Chairman Prof. Shibli Rubaiyat-ul-Islam stated that capital market progress will not be limited to the equities market while speaking as a chief guest.

“Trading in the secondary market for government securities will soon be available on the stock exchange’s website. As a result, the capital market’s contribution to GDP will grow further.” He said.

He also said that In the next two to one years, the complexion of the country’s capital market will witness dramatic change. At that time, transactions could be made 24 hours a day, from anywhere in the globe. However, the transaction will be carried out when the bank is open.

Major (Retd.) Emdadul Islam, Director of CSE, delivered the opening remarks. Asif Ibrahim, Chairman of the CSE, delivered the closing remarks.

Note that CSE awards have been given to the first 10 trek holders in the two categories of dealer and broker for the year 2021–2022.
