10 cos dominate 38% of total turnover

Ten publicly traded companies dominated the turnover chart at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s prime bourse, last week, capturing 38.38 per cent of the total turnover. Rupali Life Insurance Company topped the turnover chart.

According to the statistical data from the DSE, Rupali Life Insurance Company dominated the entire week. Around 1.31 crore shares were traded, generating a turnover of Tk 145 crore, which was 5.71 per cent of the prime bourse’s total turnover last week.
