DSE pays tribute to Bangabandhu

Bangladesh celebrates Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s 103rd birth anniversary. On this occasion, Dhaka Stock Exchange’s (DSE) newly elected chairman, Dr Hafiz Muhammad Hasan Babu, along with its panel of directors, Md Afzal Hossain, Md Siddiqur Rahman, Sharif Anwar Hossain, and acting managing director, M Shaifur Rahman Mazumdar, laid wreaths on the statue of our vivacious leader at Dhanmondi 32.

Chief Regulatory Officer Khairul Bashar Abu Taher Mohammad and other DSE officials were present during the tribute.

The day was celebrated all over the country while the Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, addressing a discussion program at Tungipara in Gopalganj, marking the 103rd birth anniversary of Bangabandhu and National Children’s Day, said that no child in the Smart Bangladesh will be deprived of the light of education and no person will remain homeless.

“The Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib, is no longer with us, but he left his ideals for us to follow,” she added while addressing her people.
