Exim Bank declares 10% cash dividend for 2022

Export Import (Exim) Bank of Bangladesh declared a 10 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year 2022.

The lender posted a 72.48 per cent from rise in its net profit in 2022 over the previous year.

The bank’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for 2022 stood at Tk 2.57, up from Tk 1.49 for the previous year.

The annual general meeting of the bank is scheduled to be held on June 19. The record date has been fixed for May 16 for the share entitlements.

The bank’s net asset value per share stood at Tk 22.02 till December 2022.

The bank’s shares closed at Tk 10.40 per share on the DSE trading floor on Tuesday.
