All the sectors, led by NBFIs, IT and insurers fell on Dhaka Stocks Exchange (DSE) on Thursday.
The benchmark DSEX index shed 57.49 points or 0.95 per cent to settle at 5,980.

The Shariah-based DSES index lost 11.64 points or 0.88 per cent to 1,308 while the blue-chip index DS30 dropped by 17.60 points or 0.81 per cent to 2,145.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 441 crore.

Of the issues traded, 25 advanced, 333 declined, and 22 remained unchanged.
