Asia Insurance Ltd, a publicly-traded general insurance company, has declared cash dividends for the year 2021.
On Tuesday’s board meeting, Asia Insurance Ltd recommended a 15 per cent or Tk 1.5 per share cash dividend to its shareholders for the year.
These are the company’s highest cash dividend figures since 2014.
The earnings per share (EPS) of Asia Insurance increased 40 per cent to Tk 3.29 in the year ended on December 31, 2021, which was Tk 2.39 in the previous year.
Its net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) also increased to Tk 6.83 in 2021, from Positive Tk 5.99 in 2020.
The company’s Net Asset Value (NAV) per share increased to Tk 26.57 from Tk 24.52 in 2020.
Asia Insurance had declared a 12 per cent cash dividend for the previous year, while the record date has been set as June 07.
