Banks closed positive on Sunday but most other sectors, including textile and insurance, faced correction on the Dhaka Stock Exchange.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DESX index increased 3.57 points or 0.05 per cent to 7,089.
The Shariah-based DSES index gained 5.36 points or 0.35 per cent to 1,522. Meanwhile, the blue-chip index DS30 rose 7.55 points or 0.29 per cent to 2,605.
