The Dhaka Stock Exchange PLC (DSE) inaugurated its new state-of-the-art international-standard data centre at DSE Tower in Nikunja, Dhaka on November 12, 2023.

Since the data centre’s launch, various organisations have been contacting the DSE authorities to rent and utilise the space. Continuing in this vein, a four-member team led by City Bank Chairman Aziz Al Kaiser met with DSE Chairman Professor Dr Hafiz Md Hasan Babu at the DSE office on Monday, according to a press release.

DSE Managing Director (acting) Sattique Ahmed Shah was also present at the meeting in which the City Bank team expressed their interest in renting the data centre for a US-based company named ‘Cloud Delta’.

In response, DSE chairman said that the exchange has established a modern data centre with 106 racks. However, some development works are still underway.

However, he revealed that the premier exchange has plans to rent out the unused space through a well-defined guideline after completing the development works.
