Most sectors led by IT, banks and insurers ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index shed 12.89 points or 0.20 per cent to 6,346.

Shariah-based DSES index lost 0.41 points or 0.03 per cent to 1,385, while the blue-chip index DS30 added by 7.25 points or 0.31 per cent to 2,283.
The DSE turnover stood so far at Tk 662 crore.

Of the issues traded, 149 advanced, 182 declined, and 50 remained unchanged.
