Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) led by insurers ended in green on Monday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, advanced 8.58 points or 0.13 per cent to settle at 6,243.
DSES, the Shariah-based index, gained 0.95 points or 0.07 per cent to settle at 1,359.
Among other indices, DS30, the blue-chip index, rose 1.94 points or 0.08 per cent to close at 2,223.
Another important indicator of the market, DSE turnover closed at Tk 451.7 crore.
Of the issues traded, 95 advanced, 38 declined, and 201 did not see any price movement.
