DSE in green, led by IT

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday ended its trading on a positive note, led by  IT.

At the end of the day's trade, DSEX - the major index of DSE - gained 2.85 points or 0.04 per cent to 6,296.

The Shariah-based DSES added 2.27 points or 0.16 per cent to 1,374 while the blue-chip index DS30 also added 2.00 points or 0.08 per cent to 2,230.

Meanwhile, the turnover stood at 505 crores.

Of the issues traded, 33 advanced, 136 declined, and 178 remained unchanged.
