Most sectors on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended in red, dragged down by Insurers on Monday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX deducted 32.92 points or 0.51 per cent to 6,311.
The Shariah-based index DSES deducted 12.34 points or 0.88 per cent to 1,386, and the blue-chip index DS30 shed 19.57 points or 0.86 per cent to 2,242.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 228 crore.
Of the issues traded, 25 advanced, 79 declined, and 199 remained unchanged.
