Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) downward trend continued for the fifth consecutive day.
Most sectors led by NBFIs, IT and textile and were down on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Tuesday.

At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index shed 71.62 points or 1.15 per cent to settle at 6,145.
The Shariah-based DSES index lost 15.62 points or 1.14 per cent to 1,344 while the blue-chip index DS30 dropped 29.69 points or 1.01 per cent to 2,213.

The DSE turnover stood at Tk 319 crore.
Of the issues traded, 21 advanced, 344 declined, and 17 remained unchanged.
