Most sectors on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended in green, pulled up by IT on Wednesday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index achieved 50.92 points or 0.78 per cent to 6,500.
The Shariah-based index DSES gained 13.06 points or 0.92 per cent to 1,428, and the blue-chip index DS30 also gained 6.06 points or 0.26 per cent to 2,316.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 994 crore.
Of the issues traded, 137 advanced, 32 declined, and 197 remained unchanged.
