Most sectors on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) drag down by insurers ended in red on Tuesday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX shed 21.92 points or 0.33 per cent to 6,489. The Shariah-based DSES index dropped 7.42 points or 0.52 per cent to 1,413.
Among other indices, the blue-chip index DS30 lost 15.47 points or 0.68 per cent to 2,316.

Meanwhile, turnover, another important indicator of the market, closed at Tk 1,494 crore.
Out of 370 stocks traded, 60 issues advanced, 136 declined and 174 remained unchanged.
